The FIM issued a press release today confirming that the final round of the World Superbike Championship will be held at Brands Hatch in England on October 15.
Brands Hatch takes the place of the originally scheduled round at Imola in Italy. Accomodation of teams and spectators is the main reason due to Imole hosting a huge beer festival the same weekend. This means that Great Britain will host three rounds of the championship in 2000.
The remaining World Superbike Championship calendar now looks like this:
There will probably be some disappointed bikers, a beer festival and bike racing on the same weekend, would be heaven to some bikers I know.
