We are now into day 3 of the 2004 ISDE. Untill 1980 this event used to be titled the International Six Days Trial: (ISDT) and the terrain reflected a greater degree of difficulty, (particularly when the rudimentary machines of the era were taken into account - Some 1973 Photos Here:) than the modern event presents, with the separation of riders generally being decided over MotoCross type terrain.
Over time the event has evolved to it's present state, but it is not coincidental that the winners still come from those who can handle adverse conditions best as even well laid plans can go awry and - the best rider still wins.
Uninitiated readers may ask - "So what is the International Six Days Enduro?"
