Spectro MX Press Release:
The organisers of the 2004 Spectro SX4 Winter Motocross are delighted to announce the reformatted series is about to launch.
Following the withdrawal of two clubs the new two round series has achieved its aim to provide natural terrain motocross events for the lower North Island.
Manawatu Orion continue their tradition to host the series opener at Himitangi on Sunday August 15th.
The date clash with Taupo club has been avoided and the second and final round moves to October 17th, hosted by the Central Hawkes Bay Motorcycle club.
Both venues provide the right circuits for the growing interest in natural terrain motocross and follow the successful format of the 'Good Times Scrambles'. This is a feast of short races in three different classes. The series includes machine capacity, age group and licence class racing.
The continued support from Spectro Oils will see increased rewards for riders and more chances for a share in the glory of Winter Motocross prestige.
