Long trip to Austria

Yup here we are back in bloody cold Austria. It\'s 4C degrees here which is around 35F degrees. Very cold for us!

We flew back from Austrialia which is the longest flight ever. Just shy of 8 hours to Singapore and then 13 hours and some odd minutes to London. From London, we flew to Munich which is another 1 hour and 30 minute flight. From Munich, we hired a car and drove to Salzburg to pick up our car from Suzuki Austria. Once we finally got to our place outside Salzburg I went to the local Italian, bought a spicy pizza, ate four slices and fell asleep. We had to have slept for about 12-13 hours straight cause\' we woke up around 1:30 am, made some pasta and watched `Catch Me If You Can`. Jet lag!!! We got up and ate then went to the gym. Around 2pm we drove to Germany to hang out with John\'s race engineer for the night who lives just north of Regensburg. It was a 2 hour drive to where he lives, but once we got there it was cool. We had a nice dinner, then they went to the local pub for a drink and I fell asleep. I tried to stay awake but I just couldn\'t.

This morning we had some breakfast and played this Bavarian card game for about 3 hours. We had to keep playing cause\' John wanted to beat Alfred (race engineer) and I wanted to win at least one game. I\'ll tell you what, I cannot play a card game if my life depended on it. So if anyone ever offers to play a card game, you already know who the loser will be, YUP................me!!!! That was the highlight of our morning but it was really fun. Then we drove back and now here we are, back in Austria.

Nothing much planned for the next few days except going to the gym, watching movies on John\'s new DVD player and maybe snowboarding this weekend if all goes well. There is a glacier outside Salzburg called Kaprun, that apparently stays frozen all year long. I think the weather conditions are up to standard right now. However, on Sunday evening we\'ll be in the chat room on the Hopperracing.com site around 7pm CET, 6pm GMT, and 10am PST. We will be for about an hour or so, so log on and go to the CONTACT link, and click on CHAT.

So next week is Valencia and then the season is over. It\'s going to be a good race!!!

Bye from Lengua.
