Darryll King wins his third Australian Championship.
CDR/Boost Mobile/Yamaha’s Darryll King is the 2003 Australian Open Motocross Champion.
DK,s consistent performances and extra speed enabled him to pull ahead of his main challengers throughout the five round series. Even with a third placing overall at the final round in Perth he was 33 points ahead of his nearest competitor. The Coastal circuit near Perth is one of the roughest and demanding on rider and bike in the world.

Darryll heads to the US this week to ride round one of the American Motocross Nationals in California.

Darryll King, “I am stoked to finally win this Championship, I had a game plan and stuck to it throughout and it payed off. This series has been a tough one, and I enjoyed every minute of it. There are so many fast riders in Australia and getting a top three start is so important. The track this weekend was so challenging and I had to dig deeper than ever to stay on top in the sandy conditions. The Staintune four stroke nationals start in two weeks and I plan on going for the win in every moto\"
