If you are a Moto Cross fan Hawkes Bay will be the place to be next weekend, 10-11 August.
To kick off the festivities for the Blue Wing Honda - Senior MX Champs, [round 3]
on Friday evening [9 August] the HB club is hosting a `Meet `n` Greet` social evening.
Special guest speakers will be Darryll King and Ian Miles,
Josh & Ben`s Manager, plus a few personal handycam vids from Europe from Ben Townley.
The venue is the St Johns hall in Taradale, starting at 7.00pm, $20.00 senior, $10 junior with beer, wine, juice, water and food all inclusive in the price. Everybody is welcome.
Dick Gerkle Raceway has been widened for the national meeting allowing for heaps of inside/outside passing lines, not to mention the new 100ft tabletop to test the MX pilots.
Grandstand seating has been secured for the nationals so the spectators will
be able to view at least 90% of the track from one spot.
Neil Ritchie will be
the man on the mic and food & beverages will available all weekend, as well as
breakfast which will be available at the track from 7:00am.
Hole shot money is up for grabs in all races, $100 each race for the national classes & $50 for the support classes.
We still have a few gate spots available in the 250 support class if any one is interested
