Castrol Honda Red Rider Peter Broxholme convincingly rode away from the field at the first round of the Asia-Pacific SuperCross series at Sugo, Japan, on Sunday 12th August.
Following his last minute inclusion in last year’s Thailand round of the series, where he finished an impressive second to the factory riders, Broxholme was invited back this year to compete in the full series, with the support of Blue Wing Honda and MNZ.
Race team manager Dave Borlase said: ‘With Peter’s awesome focus and impressive riding skills it is no surprise to me that he was able to beat the factory teams. We’re now looking forward to the next round of the series in September.’
