Due to the severe weather event in April 2026, the land owners & key organisers have decided that with the properties being significantly damaged, there will be major earthworks conducted across the properties during the summer of 2027. Therefore the 2027 Mighty Mokau Trail Bike Ride is CANCELLED for 2027.

February 20th, 2028 is still in place for The Mighty Mokau Trail Bike Ride to return

Directions:

Turn in Manganui Road - 200 metres north of the Awakino Junction Service Station, North Taranaki. Approx 1.5 k's take First right into Taumatamaire Road. First driveway on the right "Piripiri Station".
Classes: - Suitable for 2 & 4 wheelers,
- Some tracks suitable for side by sides
- UTVS: Our tracks are not suitable for any vehicle wider than 165cm, we appreciate you co operation with this request
- Fire extinguishers are recommended to be carried by all riders/bikes
