The Gremlin & Wera:

You will have read The Gremlin to Daytona:

If you haven\'t already followed the Thread: do so now. All six pages...... (to date).

It is a most humbling experience. That these guys from Wera have so enthusiastically got in behind Shaun to raise a total (to date) after Paypal\'s cut of USD$2297.92 !!!!!!

Just a few extracts:

Have to help out a Kiwi.....darn tooting nicest people you ever will meet... Good Luck! Will be rooting for ya Shaun!

Hey Shaun I know I said it before but I just want to remind you. The people that have done this for you simply did it to give you a chance. The same as the guy in the paddock that gives his championship rival his last spare clip-on just so he can have a chance. I\'ve seen it a THOUSAND times since I started following WERA. It is also why I hang around even though circumstances are preventing me from being at the track. This is a surly group at times but they love each other.

Do not add any pressure to that which you normally put on yourself. Again, no one expects anything except for you to give the best you can. If things don\'t go well, or if they don\'t work out as planned, all the individuals that offered their support will offer more supprt to get you back up and going. That WERA BBS SUPPORT is so much deeper than the $2000 raised so far!
You couldn\'t ask for a better bunch of people on your side.

And this interesting comment from the man who has endeared himself to the Americans.

This is just friggin awsome.
I am trying to buy a GSXR 1000 at the moment for the SuperStock race( we all no how tight lawyers can be)
I appreciate what has been done here and understand all the positive comments. I do not intend on making this a 1 of USA outing,it is my intention to do as many as I can,and as many WERA rounds as possible,I had such a great time with a great bunch of guys at Grattan that I would be mad not to.
I do not have a problem driving for days on end.
