From Pauatahanui, head up the Paekak hill Rd. The trial is around 3 to 5 km out of “town”
and is on the left (right if you're coming from Paekak). It's number 273. You go through
the windy bits just out of Pauahatanui, and it's about a third of the way down the first really
good straight you come to. If you get to Battle Hill you've gone about twice as far out of
Pauahatanui than you should have.
