Effective Immediately: FIRE EXTINGUISHERS COMPULSORY
Because of the fire risk, all Maramarua events require a Fire Extinguisher to be carried by those 16 yrs and over.
New Fire Extinguishers are available for sale at sign on for $30 or hire for $5 ($30 deposit with $25 refund for extinguishers returned in excellent condition)
Fire extinguishers can be carried either on the vehicle or in a bag on the person.
Wednesday sees the return of the Twilight Trail Rides in Maramarua Forest.
Starting from 3 pm through to Dark, this is the time to skip work and come out and enjoy the graded tracks of Maramarua Forest.
It only costs $50 and you get a Gourmet Burger and Cold Drink included and all the riding you can do before dark..
Sealed road all the way to the forest.
Turn off the Mobile, sign up on the day and go riding.
Don't forget to check this site or ring 027 4454429 before travelling to Maramarua on a week day as Forest Operations during the week may in exceptional circumstances, meaning we cannot go into the forest. You have been warned!
